Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run DuctSheet. We never sell your information, and your jobs remain yours.

This policy explains how DuctSheet (we, us) handles personal information when you use the DuctSheet app and website. We aim to handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and login details.
• Your saved work: the jobs, measurements, notes and drawings you add to DuctSheet. We keep them securely in your account and only use them to provide the service.
• Subscription details: your plan and payment status. Stripe handles card details; we do not see or store your full card number.
• Device details: an identifier used to keep each account active on one phone at a time.
• Usage details: basic visit statistics, such as pages viewed.
• Messages: anything you send us, such as support emails.

How we use it

We use this information to run DuctSheet, keep your jobs available, manage your account and subscription, prevent misuse, reply to you, send important service notices and improve the app. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run DuctSheet, or where the law requires it:

• Stripe for payments and subscriptions.
• Supabase for accounts and saved jobs.
• Netlify for hosting the app.
• GoatCounter for visit statistics.
• Google Workspace for email.

If you use a team plan, the person managing that plan may give us the email addresses of the users covered by it.

Overseas storage

These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States.

Information on your device

DuctSheet saves your jobs and settings in your browser so it can work without signal. You can clear this by clearing your browser data, but jobs that are not saved to an account will be lost.

Keeping information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, but no online service is completely secure. Please use a strong password and keep it private.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you have an account. After your subscription ends, we may delete your saved jobs after 30 days. We may keep some records for longer where the law requires it, such as tax records.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account by emailing admin@ductsheet.com.au.

Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, please email us first and we will try to fix it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and tell you about important changes by email or in the app.
